Midwifery Services, is a homebirth practice dedicated to offering women
who are experiencing healthy, low risk pregnancies the chance to birth
their baby in the setting of their choice. During pregnancy, labor, and
the postpartum period.
My practice serves Biloxi, Mississippi and the
surrounding areas (1.5 hr drive from Pass Christian), I conduct all prenatal visits in the privacy and
comfort of your home.
The Midwifery Model of Care is the Heart and Soul of midwifery care, as
it is based on the fact that pregnancy and birth are a normal process of
life. The Midwifery Model of Care includes monitoring of the physical,
psychological, and social well-being of the mother, her pregnancy, and
her birth. This model provides the mother with individualized prenatal
support during labor, birth, and postpartum care.
Midwives are trained to identify when obstetrical referral's and transfer of care is necessary.
