I provide midwifery services within 100 miles of Saint Peter, MN and doula/monitrice services within 60 miles of Saint Peter, MN.
I was trained as a traditional midwife through attending homebirths with a variety of midwives both as an assistant and as an apprentice and through completing an internship at a very busy birth center. I was taught to understand birth as a normal and natural event, not as a major medical crisis.
I stay current on CPR, neonatal resuscitation, and continuing education opportunities. I maintain memberships in local midwifery organizations as well. I am a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) and a Licensed Midwife (LM) in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.
I am able to bill medical insurance and I provide early payment discounts and sliding fee scales for self-pay clients.
