How exciting to have a new baby coming into your life!
Many studies have shown homebirth to be a reasonable choice for healthy women. In particular, the CPM 2000 statistics project that was finally printed in the BJM in the June 18, 2005 edition.
Helping women, initially as a La Leche League Leader, then as a doula, and currently a midwife, has been my passion for over 26 years. Having 6 children, the last 4 born at home, has provided lots of additional experience to better help birthing women.
I am a CPM, and am willing to travel about 1 hour. To provide the best possible care for your family, in addition to myself, I plan to bring another experienced midwife with me to each birth.
